Our Story

Cookin Cousins: We are true-blue, same-age first cousins! Our great-grandpa Sherratt founded Honeyville Farms back in 1951. As little kids, we remember visiting the mill to find Grandpa and give him white flour-dust hugs with the sweet smell of fresh ground wheat. The love of grains is in our blood!
Grandpa’s Honeyville business has grown over the years to be one of the largest food manufacturers in the Western United States supplying Honeyville grains and mixes to customers all over the world. A tradition that still holds today is how Grandpa would always leave the front door open at the mill for everyone that wanted to stop in to purchase a bag of fresh wheat for baking or food storage.
Our blog is designed to take Grandpa’s open-door approach and show the world the types of recipes, tips, tricks, hints and ideas we have learned using the Honeyville Farms products for Food Storage and Emergency Preparedness.
We will talk about new products, share coupons and discount codes, and update you on the happenings of Honeyville Farms. Enjoy your reading and if you ever have any suggestions, comments, or questions please feel free to leave us a comments or email us at: blog@honeyvillegrain.com .
Welcome to Honeyville. It’s our family and yours!

Callie: I love to cook! Give me some healthy Honeyville ingredients and I whip up something great! I’m always searching for new and exciting dishes. My Civil-Engineer husband and baby girl are my test panel. Whether it’s fresh Honeyville Farms pancake mix or food storage Sushi rolls, there is always something new in my kitchen!

Tenille: My kids and husband are my life. I have a baby girl on the way and my two boys are young Jedi’s in the making and full of energy! My husband is a Nursing student and puts in long hours at school and battles at work to provide for our family (I sure do love my sweetie-pie!). My job is to feed my family on a budget and recharge their energy to keep them healthy and strong. For several years now, I’ve utilized my food storage and tried all kinds of concoctions and combinations to create some amazing dishes. The Honeyville Farms blog lets me share those recipes with you too!
