Simple. Easy. Healthy. Are there any three better words in the English language, especially when it comes to baking? Complex, long, drawn-out dishes and recipes just don't compare with those tried-and-true, baked in minutes recipes we've all come to adopt in our routine.
So what if I told you that you could have a heart healthy, absolutely delicious cookie that was simple to make and easy to bake? Sounds too good to be true you say? What's the catch, you ask? No catch, especially if you love oats!
Using our Quick Rolled Oats and with a little help from some applesauce, we've created a soft, delicious cookie that not only tastes great, but is simply to bake. Get ready, it's time for Easy Oat Cookies!
2 cups Honeyville Quick Rolled Oats
1 cup Applesauce
1/4 cup Coconut Palm Sugar (or Brown Sugar)
1 tsp Cinnamon for topping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine oats, applesauce, and sugar, and mix together until a thick dough forms.
Form dough into cookie shapes and place on your USA Pan Baking Sheet, lined with parchment paper. Gently press down on cookies and sprinkle tops with cinnamon.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
Soft, delicious, and completely heart healthy, these cookies are super tasty and take only minutes to bake! The cookie itself is soft, chewy and perfect. The flavor is out of this world and the fact that these cookies literally only take minutes to create makes this recipe that much more enjoyable.
Cookies can be healthy and easy, and this is the recipe that proves it.
