Butter Bundt Cake
















We all need a cheat day. No matter how rigorous the workout schedule, or how strict the diet may be, every now and then we need that special day when we can step away from the routine and ease our cravings and desires, if only to keep our sanity. It's those days that I look forward to the most!

With so many of us dialed in to a new meal plan, renewed healthy diet, or even just a more committed exercise schedule, we all need that perfect dish that we can turn to in order to fill those cravings we've been missing. That one treat that, though it may be a completely break from the plan, can help ease our struggles and fulfill our necessities. Today's recipe is just that!

Using our Alta Artisan Flour and Buttermilk Powder, we've created a sweet, mouth watering, absolutely sinful bundt cake that will leave your taste buds smacking and your cravings completely fulfilled. Trust us, this is the devilish dish your new diet has been dreading! Get ready, it's time to bake up some Butter Bundt Cake!

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, cubed.
2 cups Sugar
4 Eggs
1 Tbsp Vanilla
3 cups Honeyville Alta Artisan Flour
1 tsp Himalayan Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
2 1/2 Tbsp Honeyville Buttermilk Powder + 1 cup Water

Butter Glaze:
1/3 cup Butter, melted
3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
2 Tbsp Water
2 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Prepare your bundt pan by greasing with butter liberally, then dusting with flour.

In a large bowl combine all cake ingredients. Beat together with an electric hand mixer until a smooth batter forms.

Pour batter into your prepared bundt pan.

Place in oven and bake at 325 degrees for 65-75 minutes. When done baking, remove and begin glaze.

In a medium bowl, combine all glaze ingredients and whisk together until smooth. Using a knife, gently poke holes into the top of the cake. Pour glaze over the cake completely while cake is still warm. Let cake cool completely before removing from pan. Dust with powdered sugar, slice and serve.

Can butter powder be used instead of the regular butter?

You could substitute butter powder for regular powder, but that would require the addition of water to the recipe, which we don't have the measurements for.
