Amish Cinnamon "Smile" Bread
















What are your favorite flavor combinations? One of mine would have to be cinnamon and sugar. Oh how I absolutely love the combination of these two! Whether sprinkled on top of a favorite dessert or baked in to a mouth watering dish, nothing beats the joy that comes from experiences this blend of tastiness!

We've all tried cake bread baked with a cinnamon and sugar filling. But imagine, if you will, slicing a beautiful loaf of warm cake bread and seeing a delicious swirl of cinnamon and sugar smiling right back at you. No seriously, it's literally smiling right back at you!

With the help of our Alta Artisan Flour and amazing Buttermilk Powder, we've created a warm, fluffy, cake bread infused with the most delicious blend of cinnamon and sugar you've ever tasted. And yes, best of all, that blend gives you a delicious, amazing looking smile in each slice! How fun is that?! Get ready, it's time to bake up some Amish Cinnamon "Smile" Bread!

Ingredients:
1 cup Butter, softened
2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
5 Tbsp Honeyville Buttermilk Powder + 2 cups Water
4 cups Honeyville Alta Artisan Bread Flour
2 tsp Baking Soda

Cinnamon/Sugar "Smile":
2/3 cup Sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs, using an electric hand mixer.

Next, add re-constituted buttermilk powder, flour, and baking soda, and mix until a thick batter forms.

Using your USA Pan Hearth Bread Pan, pour batter into greased pan, about half-way full.

In a separate bowl, whisk together your cinnamon and sugar "smile" ingredients. Sprinkle a generous layer of cinnamon/sugar mixture over top of batter in pan.

Pour remaining batter over the top of the cinnamon/sugar mixture, then sprinkle remaining mixture over the top of the batter again.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 20-30 minutes before turning out, slicing, and serving.

Warm, fluffy, and packed full of cinnamon and sugar flavor, this is a dish you'll want to create again and again. But by far the most exciting part of this bread is the beautiful, and very tasty, cinnamon/sugar smile that is shining through in each slice! Who knew a delicious bread could be so happy?
