Today, we thought we'd take a tried-and-true, traditional cookie recipe, and put a fun Honeyville twist on it. Using our Organic Peanut Butter Powder, we thought we'd whip up some homemade, mouth watering Peanut Butter Cookies. But, instead of using traditional flour, we've made a few substitutes that are sure to appeal to the gluten-free followers in all of use. That's right, we substituted our quick oats for flour, and oh were the results amazing! Grab your favorite mixing spoon, it's time to bake up some Flourless Peanut Butter Oat Cookies!
1 cup Honeyville Organic Peanut Butter Powder + 1/2 cup Water
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
1/4 cup Water
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Himalayan Salt
1 cup Honeyville Quick Oats
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine re-constituted peanut butter powder, brown sugar, vanilla, and water, and mix with an electric mixer until a thin batter forms. Add baking soda and salt and mix until combined.
Next, add quick oats and stir mixture becomes thick and sticky.
Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on your USA Pan Cookie Sheet, lined with parchment paper. Using a fork, press a criss cross pattern into each cookie.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Remove and allow cookies to cool on sheet for 5-10 minutes, then scoop off with a spatula and serve.
Warm, mouth-watering, and with the most amazing texture, these cookies are baked up to absolute perfection. With an amazing combination of oat and peanut butter flavor, your palate is sure to dance with delight. Serve these up with an ice cold glass of milk and watch them fly right off the plate.
It's cookie season once more. Shouldn't you start it off right with this amazing recipe?
