I love smoothies, don't you? Whether its creating a tasty afternoon snack, relaxing on a warm summers day, or blending together a healthy, delicious breakfast, smoothies are the perfect drink to cool us down, fill us up, and make everything oh so sweet!
But what really makes a good smoothie great is when it's both healthy and tasty! That, by far, is a combination that you simply can't pass up. I mean, who wouldn't want something that is tasty and good for you too?
Today's recipe is the perfect example of just that. Made with our delicious Freeze Dried Strawberries and Freeze Dried Bananas, as well as our Regular Rolled Oats, and just a dash of our impressive Blanched Almond Flour, this dairy-free, must-have smoothie is exactly what you need to get you through a busy work day. Can you say ultimate breakfast shake? Grab your blender, it's time to whip up a Strawberry Banana Oat Smoothie!
1 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Bananas
1 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Strawberries
1/2 cup Almond Milk
3 Tbsp Honeyville Blanched Almond Flour
1/4 cup Honeyville Regular Rolled Oats
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup Ice Cubes
First, grab your favorite blender. We suggest using the BOSCH Blender Attachment.
Add Freeze Dried Bananas to blender.
Next, add Freeze Dried Strawberries.
Finally, add almond milk, almond flour, oats, vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon, and ice cubes, and blend until a smooth, thick smoothie forms. Pour into your favorite cup or glass and enjoy!
