Don't you just love good old barbecue? That sweet, sassy taste from the perfect barbecue sauce. That rich aroma and flavor from smoked meat. And, of course, the rich, zesty smells and tastes of all the different spices, blended together to perfection!
Ah yes, there's nothing like a good barbecue recipe! The only bad thing about good barbecue is the cook time. Yes, that "low and slow" mentality is really what locks in all that flavor and texture. But what if there was another way? What if you could create a delicious barbecue dish in, oh I don't know, 12 minutes?
Believe it or not, you can, and we have just the recipe to prove it. Using our versatile Fagor Pressure Cooker, we've created a delicious, yet simple barbecue dish that will give you all that lip smackin', down-home cookin' you've come to expect with your favorite barbecue dish! Grab your apron, it's time to make some Pressure Cooker BBQ Chicken Pasta!
1/4 cup Honeyville Dehydrated Onions
3 Garlic Gloves, minced
2 cups Chicken Stock
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
16 oz Diced Tomatoes
1 lb Rotini Pasta
3 cups Water
First, add all your ingredients.
In your Fagor Pressure Cooker, add chicken, onions, garlic, chicken stock, milk, BBQ sauce, and diced tomatoes.
Next, add your rotini pasta on top, then add 3 cups water. Stir 2-3 times, to combine ingredients.
Lock lid on top of pressure cooker, turn to 12 minutes on "High Pressure" and cook.
Once finished, release pressure from valve, remove lid and stir twice. Scoop up and serve.
This is the barbecue meal you can have any time of the day. The rich taste of the barbecue sauce rings throughout the dish and gives the perfect amount of flavor and aroma.
