We took our heart healthy, highly popular regular rolled oats, along with our versatile powdered peanut butter, and baked up a delicious, hand held treat that will keep you full throughout the day and give you that extra boost of energy you're looking for. Best of all, it's extremely easy to bake up! Grab your apron, it's time to create some Chocolate Chip Baked Oatmeal Bars!
3 cups Honeyville Regular Rolled Oats
1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
5 cups Milk
1/2 cup Honeyville Powdered Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Water
1 cup Raisins
1 cup Chocolate Chips
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large pot, combined oats, brown sugar, milk, powdered peanut butter, water, and eggs, and mix well.
Place on stove top at medium heat and continue stirring regularly until mixture begins to thicken. This will take about 20 minutes. Once mixture thickens, stir in raisins until completely combined.
Pour mixture into your USA Pan Square Cake Pan.
Next, top mixture evenly with chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove, and allow to sit 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
These bars bake up warm, firm, and full of flavor. The texture is very sponge-like, and the taste is everything you love about home cooked oatmeal, baked into the perfect treat.
