Valentine's Cinnamon Rolls
















Don't you just love Valentine's Day? The heart-shaped decorations. The endearing cards and gifts. And, of course, the sweet, delicious treats! It just isn't Valentine's Day without a mouth watering surprise dish, am I right?

Today we thought we'd take a tried-and-true traditional dish and put a little love-twist on it. How, you ask? By adding one little, secret ingredient: pink food coloring! Nothing screams Valentine's Day more than pink, am I right? So, without further adieu, I give you the ultimate breakfast or dessert for this special love Holiday, Valentine's Cinnamon Rolls!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup & 1/2 Tbsp Honeyville Buttermilk Powder + 3 cups Hot Water
1/4 cup Butter, melted
1/3 cup Sugar
3 tsp Salt
3 Eggs
1 tsp Pink Food Coloring
1/4 cup SAF Yeast

Cinnamon Filling:
1/2 cup Sugar

Glaze Topping:
1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup Butter, softened
1 tsp Vanilla
4 Tbsp Milk

Yields: 24 cinnamon rolls

Directions:
First, make you dough.

In your BOSCH Universal Mixer, add the following ingredients in this order: Re-constituted Buttermilk, butter, sugar, salt, eggs, food coloring, 4 cups flour, and yeast. Turn mixer to #2 setting and as ingredients are mixing, add remaining flour  1 cup at a time until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Knead in machine for 3-4 minutes.

Remove and place dough in a greased bowl and cover.

Allow to rise for 30-40 minutes, or until doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Remove and roll out on a hard surface, brush top with melted butter, then sprinkle sugar and chef tess spice on top.

Gently roll up dough.

Using your W├╝sthof Bench Scraper, slice roll into individual rolls.

Place each roll in a greased baking pan.

Place in 400 degree oven, knock temperature down to 350 degrees, and bake for 15-20 minutes.

While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk to make glaze topping.

Remove cinnamon rolls from oven and, while still warm, drizzle glaze over the top. Serve warm.
