Chocolate Mango Oatmeal Bites
















Don't you just love snacks? Small, sweet, and the perfect pick-me-up during any stressful situation, snacks are meant to give you a boost in your day and make things just a little bit better. If you're anything like me, you get more excited about snack time than meal time!

But with snacks almost always comes something we don't love -- Guilt. Yes, as soon as that tasty-treat is finished, we begin to feel remorse, doubt, and even anger over our sweet sensation. "Why did I give in so quickly" we ask ourselves, only to spend the rest of the day upset about the simple choice we made to have a few minutes of happiness.

Why does guilt have to always accompany snack time? Why can't we have a guilt-free, snacking experience that makes us happy and leaves us satisfied? I'm hear to tell you that now you can, and this is how. Using our versatile powdered peanut butter, heart-healthy rolled oats, and delicious freeze dried mangos, we've created a delicious, mouth-watering snack that won't leave you feeling guilty afterwards. And isn't that what real happiness is all about? Grab a spoon, it's time to mix up some Chocolate Mango Oatmeal Bites!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Honeyville Powdered Peanut Butter + 2 Tbsp Water
1/3 cup Raw Honey
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
2 Tbsp Pine Nuts

Yields: 6 bites

Directions:
First, reconstitute your peanut butter.

To do this, mix together powdered peanut butter and water until a thick paste forms. Add honey and mix together until ingredients are smooth.

Add oats, mangos, chocolate chips, and pine nuts, and mix together until all ingredients are complete.

Take ping pong-sized balls of mixture and roll together. Place on your USA Pan Baking Sheet, lined with parchment paper. Place in refrigerator and allow to set up for 1 hour.

I might not feel guilty if I knew the sugar grams per "bite". No having any information re the calories, carbs, sugars, etc makes me quite suspicious of it being guilt free.... Honey and mangos and chocolate doesn't seem offset by the oats.
