With all these benefits and more, it's no wonder we love these versatile veggies, especially during the fall. It's that love for sweet potatoes that led me to today's recipe. Using our impressive Freeze Dried Sweet Potatoes, we've created a bread that's not only filled with all the aroma enticing spices we love during the fall, it's packed full of that sweet taste and texture we've come to love in sweet potatoes. Plain and simple, it tastes amazing! Grab your apron, it's time to bake up some Sweet Potato Spice Bread!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Sweet Potatoes
1 3/4 cup Honeyville Alta Artisan Flour
1 1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp Honeyville Buttermilk Powder + 1/4 cup Water
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Sweet-Potatoes











In a medium bowl, re-hydrate sweet potatoes by soaking in water. You're going to want them super soft for mashing, so cover with a paper towel and place in microwave for 5 minutes. Once soft, drain excess water, mash up potatoes with fork or potato masher, and set aside.

Dry-Ingredients











In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves, and whisk together until combined.

Wet-Ingredients











Return to your mashed sweet potatoes and add eggs, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla, and whisk together until full combined.

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until a thick batter forms.












Cover your USA Pan Large Loaf Pan with parchment paper, then pour batter into the pan.

Baked-Bread











Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Remove and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then lift loaf out, using parchment paper, and allow to cool on wire rack.
