Pumpkin Pie Hot Cocoa

Pumpkin-Pie-Hot-Cocoa

There's nothing better on a chilly fall day than a warm mug of Hot Cocoa. That creamy, dreamy chocolate flavor warms our body and soul with every sip. Think about some of your favorite fall memories. I'm betting many involved a cup of cocoa!

One thing I've come to realize here at Honeyville, and a fact I'll defend to the death, is that we have some of the best hot cocoa mixes you can find! With nine different flavors, you're sure to find the perfect one for your Autumn and Holiday celebrations. But, even with all their deliciousness, it's always fun to find ways to improve on their already amazing tastes! Today's recipe is just that!

I took a tried-and-true Fall-time dessert, pumpkin pie, and combined it with our creamy Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa mix to give you the perfect drink for your autumn celebrations. Believe me, this is the Hot Cocoa you're going to want for Halloween and Thanksgiving! Grab your favorite mug, it's time for Pumpkin Pie Hot Cocoa!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Whole Milk
1 Tbsp Pumpkin Puree
4 Tbsp Honeyville Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
1/4 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
Whipped Cream (optional)

First, warm up your milk.

Add Hot Cocoa Mix and whisk together until fully combined. Your cocoa will have a lighter color than traditional cocoa.

Pour into your favorite mug, then sprinkle pumpkin pie spice on top. Top with whipped cream, if desired.

This cocoa is the perfect blend of fall-time flavors and aroma. The pumpkin gives just the right amount of taste to the creamy milk chocolate, without completely overpowering it. The pumpkin pie spice brings all the flavor you love in the fall and is the perfect compliment to this delicious drink!
