Strawberry Chia Freezer Jam

Think about it, a mouth watering, spreadable jam that provides you with a healthy shot of energy with each bite! Why wouldn't you want to spread that on toast, pancakes, over yogurt, or even just in a sandwich? We've found such a jam.

Freeze Dried Organic Strawberries











Using our wonderful Freeze Dried Organic Strawberries, combined with our super healthy Raw Organic Chia Seeds, we've come up with the perfect freezer jam recipe that combines sweetness and energy into one delicious spread! Best of all, you can put this on anything and it will taste great! Grab your favorite baked bread, it's time to make Strawberry Chia Freezer Jam!

Ingredients:
3 3/4 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Organic Strawberries
2 Tbsp Raw Organic Chia Seeds
3 Tbsp Water
1 cup Raw Honey
1/2 cup Ultra Gel
3 Tbsp Lemon Juice

Directions:
First re-hydrate your strawberries.

To do so, soak strawberries in 3/4 cup water until soft.

Strawberry Chia Jam Ingredients











Add chia seeds, honey, ultra gel, and lemon juice, and stir until completely combined. Depending on how you want the texture, you may need to smash up the strawberries a bit more with a pastry cutter. Add 3 Tbsp of water after ingredients are combined to make the jam less thick.

Pouring Jam into Jar
















Pour jam into mason jars. This recipe will make about 2 jars worth of jam.

Place in refrigerator for an hour before serving to allow ingredients to settle up. Freeze in freezer for up to 9 months.
