Pressure Cooker Chicken Pineapple Pasta Recipe

Don't you hate ovens? If you're like me, the last thing you want to do on a hot summer day is crank your kitchen oven up to 350 degrees every evening to cook dinner. It's already blistering hot outside, why do we have to have our kitchen be the same? Why can't there be an easier alternative for summer supper time?

I have found that alternative, and it is pressure cooking! That's right, pressure cooking! I know, most of us typically don't pull our pressure cookers out of the pantry until the fall and winter months, focusing on delicious stews, hearty meals, and fall fruit and veggie canning. But in all truth, the pressure cooker was made for summer! Think about it. It's easy to use, cooks your meals in minutes, and, best of all, doesn't heat up your kitchen in the process! You can keep your home nice and cool while still cooking a delicious dinner the whole family will love.

Today's recipe is the perfect summer pressure cooker meal. It combines the sweet taste of our all new Freeze Dried Organic Pineapple with our versatile Freeze Dried Chicken to create an Asian inspired cuisine that your family will beg you for again and again. So crank that A/C down a little lower, grab your Fagor Electric Pressure Cooker, and let's start creating some Chicken Pineapple Pasta!

Ingredients:
4 Tbsp Sesame Seed Oil
4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Chicken
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Ultra Gel
2 Tbsp Chef Tess Amazing Wok Star Spice
2 cups Honeyville Freeze Dried Organic Pineapple
1 lb Pasta (I used Angel Hair)
7 cups Water

Directions:
Using your Fagor 3 in 1 Electric Cooker, turn the pressure cooker to 12 minutes "High Pressure" setting, then place start.

Add all ingredients, placing the 7 cups of water in last. You may find that you need to break the noodles in half to fit them in the pressure cooker. Lock lid on pressure cooker, adjust pressure release valve to "pressure" then walk away.

When cooker finishes cooking, release pressure, remove lid, stir once, then serve.

This meal is exactly what you're hoping for in a summer dinner! The sweet taste of the pineapple and brown sugar go perfect with the slightly spicy taste of the sesame oil and amazing wok star spice! The chicken is the perfect base for this meal, and the whole dish gives you a delicious Asian inspired dinner your palate will jump for!

It's time to ditch the kitchen oven this summer! It's time to bring on the pressure!
