Baked Oatmeal Blackberry Bars Recipe
















Who else loves whole grains? Not only are they extremely healthy for you, providing you with all the daily nutrients you need, but when combined with the right ingredients, and in the right recipe, can be super delicious!

Today is a great example of one of those recipes. Upon first glance, all you see is a delicious oatmeal bar, perfect for any picnic, lunch, or afternoon hike. It isn't until you look closer that you see all the amazing whole grain goodness this little bar contains. Packed full of sweet tasting millet, nutritious organic quinoa, energy boosting chia seeds, and held together by our delicious 6 grain rolled cereal, this is not your normal oatmeal bar. One bite and you've got a rush of essential vitamins, protein, fiber, and iron, giving you the daily boost you need. Best of all, we threw in our Freeze Dried Blackberries, just to give it some added sweetness! Now this is the snack you've been waiting for! Let's start making some Baked Oatmeal Blackberry Bars!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Honeyville 6 Grain Rolled Cereal
1/2 cup Slivered Almonds
1/2 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Blackberries
1/4 cup Honeyville Sunflower Seeds
1/4 cup Honeyville Hulled Millet
1/4 cup Honeyville Organic Quinoa
1/4 cup Raw Organic Chia Seeds
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 1/4 cup Skim Milk
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.












In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix together.












In a medium bowl, whisk egg, milk, and vanilla together.












Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and stir until completely combined. Pour mixture into a 9x9 baking pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.












Remove from pan, and allow to cool on a cutting board.












Using a large knife, cut into bars, then serve.












This recipe is not only super quick and easy to make, but it's one of few snacks that won't leave you feeling guilty for taking seconds!
