Pumpkin Oatmeal Recipe
















I love meal time during the Holidays! Each Holiday seems to have a delicious dinner that gets us in the festive mood. Pounds of turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, and yams fill our Thanksgiving dinner plates, while honey glazed ham, scallop potatoes, and green beans get us in the Christmas spirit!

But while each Holiday has a delicious meal set up for the end of the day, few have one to start the day. Think about it, how many times do you hear someone say "Man, I love Thanksgiving Breakfast!" Why are we missing out on the chance to start our holiday celebrations off right? Not to worry, we've got the perfect breakfast recipe to start out your Halloween or Thanksgiving Day, and the key is one very healthy, very special ingredient!


That's right, it's our Steel Cut Oats. Considered by many as the healthiest of the oat products (because it is simply the whole oat groat, cut), our Steel Cut Oats, when slow cooked with pumpkin puree, give you an amazing, one-of-a-kind breakfast perfect for your Holiday celebration! And best of all, you can make all this the night before in your Fagor 3 in 1 Electric Cooker, set the slow cooker settings, and let it bake all night. By the time you wake up the next morning, your breakfast will be warm and ready to go! Enough talk, let's get cooking!

Ingredients:
1 cup Honeyville Steel Cut Oats
15 oz can Pumpkin Puree
1/4 cup Agave Nectar
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
4 Tbsp Butter

Directions:
In your Fagor Electric Cooker, add 1 cup Steel Cut Oats.


Add remaining ingredients, stir once with a spoon, then lock lid in place. Set Pressure vent to "Steam."


On the Fagor key pad, press the "low" setting button under the slow cooker settings until it reaches 7.


This will slow cook your meal for 7 hours. Press start to begin cooking.

Once meal is done baking, remove lid, stir with a large spoon, scoop and serve.


This is the perfect "set and walk away" recipe! Just add ingredients, set your slow cooker, then let it cook all night. By the morning, you've got a super delicious, extremely healthy breakfast that will prepare you for the chill of any autumn day. The steel cut oats bake up super soft and moist, with the delicious pumpkin and spice infused taste that you can't find in any oatmeal.
