Raspberry Brownies Recipe

It's Back-To-School time once again, and if you home is anything like mine, that means it's time to heat up the oven, ramp up the kitchen, and get ready for the return of after-school snacks! While store bought cookies and crackers are great every now and then, one of the most exciting things about after-school snacks is being able to create all new treats by combining ingredients never considered before. Today's after-school recipe does just that! It combines a few ingredients you would never think of using together, all while keep things simple and easy-to-bake. And the taste and aroma is simply divine!

Ingredients:
1 pack Honeyville Gourmet Brownie Mix
1 cup Honeyville Freeze Dried Raspberries
3 Eggs
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup Water

Topping:
1/2 cup Honeyville Insta-Whip
1/2 cup Cold Water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water in a large mixing bowl and mix together until batter is smooth.

Take 1 cup of Honeyville Freeze Dried Raspberries.

I like using the smaller can for recipes like this, as it's the perfect amount for the recipe and also for a little snacking afterwards.

Crush raspberries in hand and sprinkle into the batter.

Once raspberries are sprinkled in, mix batter until raspberries are completely combined.

Pour into a brownie tray of your choice and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Use a toothpick in the middle of the brownies to determine if they are cooked all the way. If the toothpick comes out clean, they're done!

Let cool for 2-5 minutes. While brownies are cooling, make insta-whip topping by combining water and insta-whip powder and whisking until white, fluffy peaks begin to form.

The sweet smell of raspberry aroma will hit your nose as soon as you begin to mix them into the brownie batter. That smell stays throughout the baking process, and then you're hit with the sweet taste of raspberry, chocolaty goodness with the first bite!

This is a super quick, easy-to-bake treat that will lift any kid's spirits after a hard day at school, or bake it up for the perfect teacher conference dessert! I believe that is the exact definition of the phrase "Brownie Points!"

So now that you've seen our recipe, tell us, what's your favorite after-school snack to bake?
