Tip on Freeze Dried Fruits/Veggies

So recently we got a question: When is the best time of the year to buy the Freeze Dried Fruits/Veggies based on Harvest Times?

GREAT QUESTION! And I thought you would like to ALL know the answer!

Answer: The fruits and veggies are all picked at the peak of ripeness and then taken through the freeze dried process (more on freeze dried process here). So it doesn't matter when you go to buy a Honeyville Freeze Dried Fruit/Veggie because they are all at their peak of ripeness and taste fantastic!

I love this because in the winter you can open a can of Freeze Dried Strawberries and enjoy a "ripe" strawberry! Just awesome!

What is your favorite Freeze Dried Fruit/Veggie?
(My answer: I love so many of them, but if I had to choose just three (ha, ha!), I'd say: FD Onions, FD Corn, FD Mangos)

Oh I love the freeze dried corn! However...the one that really makes me happy is the...oh daggumit...I can't pick! They're all soooo goooood.
Mushroom slices...real fat slices...asparagus chopped and fresh, peas. Apricots. Blueberries...Blueberries are my favorite. I ate so many once that my husband said I looked like a burn victim...or like I was having a heart attack.
