Bean Dip

Just a quick, easy, delicious "food storage" bean dip recipe for you:

1/2 cup Honeyville Monterey Jack Cheese
1/2 cup Salsa

Prepare Refried Beans according to package instructions
Put Monterey Jack Cheese in water to re-hydrate for 5-10 minutes, then drain water
Mix all 3 together and enjoy bean dip!


It was really easy and fast....and I might have eaten the whole thing myself!!!

I'm a huge fan of the refried beans and the freeze dried cheese is actually soooo good! I was shocked that it rehydrated, melted and tasted like regular cheese too. Thanks for sharing the recipe Tenille. Bean dip is a must have! I think this would also be really good with the freeze dried bell peppers and onions hydrated and then cooked with a little oil until dark...like a fajita...maybe some chicken in a tortilla? OH babe! Now you have me thinking! That's dangerous you know!
