Baked Scones

A while back Callie posted about our delicious scones. Seriously, I LOVE our scones! My most favorite thing to do with them is to make Navajo Tacos....yum, yum! Anyway, people always ask us if our scones can be baked because on the package it only says how to deep fry them. The answer is YES! Super easy too. The package instructions say: 

1. Dissolve 2 1/2 tsp or 1/4oz. packet of dry active yeast in 1 cup warm water
2. Add 3 cups of Honeyville Farms Premium Scone Mix
3. Knead until smooth and elastic, cover and rest for 20 minutes
4. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick, cut out scones to desired shape and size.


Here....is where you would continue with:
5. Spray a baking sheet
6. Place cut out scones onto baking sheet and let it rise for 30-40 minutes
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes
Add honey, cinnamon/sugar, chocolate (you can add chocolate to anything!), etc.
